The Ends of the Earth - Page 9 Empty Re: The Ends of the Earth

Dylan sat at the rolling chair in front of all the computers. He cut them on and the machinery roared to life. He logged in and instantly several things popped up. "Looks like Hector has more to him than meets the eye. For a former Black Ops soldier he sure knows a lot about covert operations." He said to himself as he started surfing through tons of files. Ancient files that haven't been opened in a few years.

Rebel kept looking back behind her. She was sure something was up. That he wasn't far from there. She didn't like it. She moved from Jake to keep her back to the wall, just in case.

Dylan continued searching through the files on the computers, but suddenly he stopped at a file titled, 'Mission Deployments'. He opened it and then his heart sank right to his gut. "This can't be right..." He said to himself as he read the file.

Rebel looked at Jake. "I will be when my boyfriend gets over here with his back to the wall because I don't want him to get shot on the very off chance another would be assassin turns up."

Dylan was sweating...lieterally sweating. Turns out that Hector was not only a Black Ops operative, but he also was a coordinator for mission that were given to CIA and other counteritellegence agencies. And truth be told, both Dylan's and Rebecca's mothers were assigned the same mission. They were to work as partners on a mission but the information is either bugged, too deeply encrypted, or has a virus set into it because the more that Dylan tries to read, the more of it that got deleted. He did manage to get a single location though..Santorini, Greece. Then all the computers crashed and a 2 minute countdown started before self-destruction. He moved quickly grabbing every single piece of equipment he could obtain and then bolt out of the house and didn't stop running to the building went off like a light bulb. The explosion was so huge that he was sure Rebecca, and the people she was with could hear or at least feel it from there place. Dylan got up and dusted himself off and then surveyed what he had obtained. "Not bad..And I gained so much more. Wherever my mom is, she is with Rebecca's mom. And they were last seen in Greece. Of all places it just had to be the original home of the greek gods..." He muttered and then turned and ran straight for the house, straight for Rebecca.

I point to the red milk canteens all lined up "This is Canada" I say then point to the doughnut box "This is America" Then I point to the porridge "This is Alaska" I say. "Ok, so Rebel is left in Canada here" I say as I point to one of the canteens and picks up a piece of pasta and lies next to it. "Her mom" I say as I pull out banana, (Out of no where might I add) "Can't go back to the states or Alaska, without the feds knowing." I say and place the banana a few Canteens away from the pasta. "My bet is that the banana stayed in Canada to watch over the pasta until it was taken back in the land of doughnuts." I move the pasta into the doughnut box "The banana can't go to the land of the doughnuts or the land of porridge, so that leaves it one possible option." I say then throw the banana across the room and it lands on a table full of curdled milk "Europe"

Dylan made it to just before the houses when he saw Rebel. He sighed and even though the news he had was important, he didn't want to risk her still being mad at him. He jumped up into a nearby tree and then saw Jake trailing behind with his hammer. 'I knew it....she's still mad. Well I don't blame her. I would be too if I was in her position.' He thought to himself as he sighed again. He quickly pulled the bag off his back and dropped it to the ground in front of them. Luckily he was low enough and far enough away from them so that he could leave the stuff and the note and then still not be seen.

'Some stuff I found at Hector's old place. Hope it helps you.'

"Dylan! Dylan, you lasagne! Are you alright?" Rebel yelled ahead. She didn't reallt know if he could hear her. He could have been anywhere. She kept running. And then stopped. Her head started to hurt. She hunched down and covered her temples with her palms. When the pain faded, she stood. She looked at her hand. No physical pain. It must have been her lack of sustentance. She tried to run again but her blood sugars were low and she ended up crouched down, holding her stomach. She was almost in tears, taking huge breaths and gasping. She was sweating a little and she was so weak she couldn't stand. She couldn't even move, never mind that.

Dylan looked out at Rebel remembering that old nickname she had randomly givin him all those years ago. He saw her running but then saw her double over. "Oh no..Not another attack." He muttered to himself and then ran through the branches and dropped down beside her. "Rebel. Rebel speak to me." He said to her completely forgetting if she wanted to ring his neck or not. Either way he didn't care. Rebel was a friend. No, friend didn't cut it. She was his best friend, the only frined he ever had..

Rebel shook her head and looked up. Her face was pale. She gulped and- She fell backwards, unconscious. She needed to eat. She needed to drink. She needed something to bring her blood sugar up.

Dylan had to act fast otherwise he would loser her. He look up and saw Jake and then scoffed. "What the hell are you doing!? Get over here or we're gonna lose her!" He yelled at Jake and then quickly took off his bag and went though it looking for some food to give her.

Rebel did so. She felt so weak. AND WHO WAS HE TO ORDER HER?! She wasn't impressed. Then she realised, as she ate the banana. "Walter... Is this the banana that represented Mom?"

She looked kinda freaked.
